Stippling: It refers to a blending technique that is used in concealers and foundations. It is especially effective for blending out the edges of concealers.
Stippling is done in patting motion, usually with your fingers or sponge. Stippling is also a great way to carefully apply one product over another. Below is the process:

- Place some product like foundation on your finger tips or sponge.
- Apply in a gentle patting motion so as not to disturb or erase the product you've applied underneath, such as a concealer.
- Blend it in the patting motion only, and you are done.
